| In operating its plants, EVN Abfallverwertung
NÖ is fully committed to environmental protection – by
treating garbage so as to keep emissions to an absolute minimum while
harnessing its energy content to generate electricity, district heating
and process steam for industrial use. |

are highly important aspects of all activities in which EVN Abfallverwertung
NÖ engages. This includes using environmentally sound transport
logistics, consideration of scenery and habitat, and an architecture
that harmoniously integrates with its surrounding. |

in Austria and abroad. For its international projects, EVN measures
its performance against the standards and regulations set up by the
European Union. |
